Anders Fredricsson, born 21 May 1965 in Stockholm, a Swedish rally driver and racecar drivers.
He has sience 5 years of age lived in the neighborhood of Enkoping.
Fredricsson started his motorsport career in the late seventies to run motocross.
1986 he was then selected for the Talent Grand Prix Challenge, organized by the Swedish carmagazine Bilsport in partnership with Marlboro and the British Formula 1 Team McLaren with their driver Alan Prost and Stefan "Lill Lovis" Johansson as front name. Grand Prix Challenge was won by the former tennis pro Hans Simonsson who got a free season in the Swedish Formula Ford Championship.
Despite the fact that Anders did not win this talent show, he impressed big example on Sven Frindelius newly founded Scandinavian Formula School. In return when he worked in the school he got the chance to start competing in their Formula Ford cars which resulted in a 10-place in the Swedish Championship. Then his career took off and he compeded in both Formula Ford and Formula 3 and 4th and the season 1990/1991 in the elite class Formula Opel Lotus, together with such Ruben Barrichello, Pedro Lamy, David Coulthard and Kenny Brack. Before that he had even time to harvest some Formula 3000 test in England (the class in F1).
Because the prevailing economic situation in Sweden, he took time out from motorsport after the 1991 season but returned in the autumn of 1994, but this time in rally.
Until the middle of the 2001 season, he competed in the Suzuki GrpN car but at the end of that year he made his debut in a new factory-built Volkswagen Polo which was part of his and FAHS Motorsports elite investment to bring Fredricsson the Swedish rally top.
2002 he made his debut for the Volkswagen factory team in the UK and impressed a lot during the Finals in the British Championship which was held in the area around Aldershot. Despite that he went of the road ones and even roll hes car, he finished in second place just seconds after his countryman Roger Andersson from Valdemarsvik.
2003 he participated with co-driver Johan Thelin in the Swedish Championship and Europen Championship (which he was the moral winner) and with co-driver Jenny Aman (later Fredricsson) in British Championship, but was unfortunately interrupt this massive investment in August due disease.
2004, he and Jenny Aman tok Swedish Championship bronze after finish 2,1,1,1,1,1, -, 5 despite that they prticipant in the championship with the two VW Polo´s and in the end whit a Renault Clio Ragnotti that was in a different class. This year he also managed to take the class victory in the Swedish World Championship Rally with Johan Thelin VW Polo.
2005 invested since the couple returned to Swedish Championship and the British Championship, but they also closed prematurely due to technical problems with his Renault factory which also made them one more time out and Anders finished his rally carriar after the season.
2008 was to be under fire, this time in a Mitsubishi Evo IV, which, after some technical problems finished in 10th place in the Swedish Championship with. He returned also to circuitracing this year and compeded at Knutstorp in Sport2000 where, after 17 years of absence impressed with a 6 and a 7-spot.
2009 he attended the same Sports2000 Tiga in Falkenberg, finishing 10th and 5th place while the following year in the same competition jumped in and finished 4th and 7th.
2011 he attempted a few races in the English Sports 2000 Duratec series which resulted in full-season venture for 2012th with a 4:e place on Cadwell Park as top result i GB and a victory in the Swedish final in Sports2000 Pinto. Even 2013 gone be a full-season in the British serie for Team PJM in there Lola.
2012 to 14 was he racing in Team PJM (Lola) and MCR Racing Cars Ltd (MCR) in the English Sports 2000 Duratec serie and in 2012 he made a guest appearance in the Swedish finals of the Sports 2000 Championship in a Tiga which resulted in victory.
2015 was unfortunately no competitor when he was forced to surgically insert implants in both shoulders.
2016 Anders running a Chevron GR8 in the Swedish GT STCC series.
Privately, he has three children Charlotte (b.94), Felix (b.99) and Wilma (b.02) with his first wife Christina Fredriksson.
Beside motorsport Anders exercise some running and he had participant in marathons across the eurpoe.
